Laser tattoo removal in Virginia Beach
Located in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area of Virginia and with a large fleet parked at Hampton Roads Harbor, the city has a strong Navy tradition. Virginia Beach is also a popular tourist spot, being the only major resort on the Virginia coast, as well as the largest city in the state.
The city is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as having the longest leisure beach in the world, at the southern end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and also the longest bridge-tunnel complex in the world.
A natural landmark, First Landing State Park, also called the Seashore State Park, is one of the most famous Virginia Beach attractions you’ll find. The park is great if you want to avoid the coastal crowd in the city and just relax outdoor. Some activities include picnicking, boating, hiking, swimming and crabbing.
Virginia Beach is also home to major historical sites, including Adam Thoroughgood House (one of the oldest surviving colonial homes in Virginia), the Francis Land House (a 200-year-old plantation) and the Cape Henry Lights.
With almost 90% of its original 1725 structure still intact, the Lynnhaven House is one of the country's best-preserved 18th century buildings and one of the most famous Virginia Beach attractions.
The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science features the 300,000-gallon Norfolk Canyon Aquarium, featuring a sand tiger, nurse and brown sharks, sting rays and other species.
There is also a 70,000-gallon sea turtle aquarium, sea turtle hatchling laboratory, hands-on ocean exploration exhibits, jellyfish and octopus aquariums, plus a life-size model of a humpback whale.
The laser tattoo removal treatment feels something like getting rubberband snaps. Anyway, you will feel less pain than when you got the tattoo.
Some lighter colors like white, red, pink, orange and yellow, may require more effort to remove and in some cases they won’t disappear completely, while black, blue, green and brown are easily removed with laser.
Although the procedure is not painful, your doctor may give you a pain killer, like Tylenol or a local injection to reduce the discomfort.
The whole treatment lasts only a few minutes as the laser pulse of light penetrates the surface skin tissue and breaks the pigment into particles which are later eliminated by the body’s immune system.
There are enough Virginia Beach attractions to suit just about all tastes. Definitely worth seeing is the city’s boardwalk and the downtown area's pubs, restaurants and boutiques.
